The 25th Annual DarienFest sponsored by the Darien Chamber of Commerce will be held September 7, 8 and 9 at Darien Community Park located at Plainfield Road and Clarendon Hills Road.  Opening ceremonies commence at 5:45 pm on Friday which will include the Darien VFW Post 2838 Honor Guard Presentation of The Colors, Mayor Weaver, Darien Chamber Board Members and the Hinsdale South Marching Band.

Friday’s lineup includes Amy Kelly and the Bill Ande Band along with the very popular 7^th Heaven.

New to DarienFest this year is Darien Idol!  The finalist will hit the stage Saturday afternoon. Best of luck to all of our awesome contestants;  Maura Carr, Angelica Jungman, Gisselle Cervantes, Emily Dahowski, Claire Wagner, Elizabeth O'Neill, Gianna Marie Scumaci and Jim Ladd. Judges include Main Stage Sponsor Lori Graves from the KeyBoard Touch, Darien resident and local artist Andrew Salgado and music producer Frank Pappalardo. Good Luck to all of them!  The winner will perform on the Main Stage on Sunday.  Also new this year we are proud to present the winners of Battle of The Bands!  Congratulations to Jet Black Comedy, Below Zero and Rock Academy.  Darien Idol and Battle of The Bands have been sponsored by the KeyBoard Touch.

Saturday’s lineup also includes the Hinsdale South Marching Band, winner of Battle of the Bands Jet Black Comedy, Andrew Salgado and Hi Infidelity.

Radio Disney comes to DarienFest Sunday from noon to 1pm.  Also performing on Sunday Battle of the Band winners Below Zero and Rock Academy followed by the winner of Darien Idol!  Motown Sunday Night kicks off with The Moods followed by Lynne Jordan and the Shivers.

The community will have the opportunity to “Meet and Greet” Darien Chamber Members during the Business Expo.  We will also kick off Illinois Chamber of Commerce week with a Membership Drive to all Darien businesses.  Join the Chamber of Commerce at DarienFest or at our Membership Drive on September 13^th and 14^th at Citizens Financial Bank and receive FREE sponsorship for Darien Days which will be held November 26 – December 2^nd.

Windy City Amusements will offer Unlimited Ride Specials on Saturday and Sunday Noon to 5pm for $20 per person per day.  Darien VFW Post 2838 will host their annual 50/50 raffle.  Kidbucks Game Show will be entertaining children all weekend.

FREE Shuttle Service.  Stops are Jewel-Osco (75^th & Cass), Westwood Park (75^th & Fairview), Chestnut Court Plaza (75^th & Lemont Rd.) and Wal-Mart (75^th & Lyman).  Passengers will be dropped off and picked up at Indian Prairie Public Library.
