DuPage County Business Forum Welcomed Local Experts and Government Officials
(Medinah, Ill.) Choose DuPage along with CBIZ, Rathje & Woodward, and Grant Thornton hosted a business forum at Medinah Country Club on Wednesday, Oct. 10. Experts and representatives from each company presented valuable information and answered questions from attendees regarding the issues plaguing DuPage County businesses and residents.
In addition to the panel, DuPage County Board Chairman Dan Cronin, Rep. Peter Roskam of the 6th District of Illinois, and Sen. Kirk Dillard were guest speakers at the event.
“DuPage County is a model leader and we want to make all of Illinois great like DuPage County,” said Dillard. “Choose DuPage hit the nail on the head advocating the quality of life, location and educated workforce found in our county. DuPage County really is the best.”
The DuPage County business forum allowed attendees to form into smaller groups for individual discussion while participating in a Q-and-A session with the panel. Some of the topics included:
- Income tax planning
- Health care reform
- Employment issues
- Leading and emerging markets in DuPage County
“The forum was different from a lot of business forums because it was completely interactive,” said Greg Bedalov, Choose DuPage president and CEO. “We really wanted business owners, managers and CEO’s to enjoy the experience and get the most out of it by asking any question they had on their minds.”
Choose DuPage thanks the close to a hundred attendees that came to the business forum.
