The Chicago Hawks Youth Hockey Club invites boys and girls ages four to eight years old to the Darien Sportsplex on Saturday, February 19 at 12:40 p.m. for a Try Hockey for Free clinic to experience ice hockey for the first time and learn the basics of the sport in a fun, safe environment.

 The Try Hockey for Free clinic is part of USA Hockey’s Hockey Weekend Across America celebration, which runs nationwide Feb. 18-20.

 To pre-register for the Try Hockey for free event, please visit send an email to coachbloome@gmail.com. The first 40 kids to pre-register will receive a free USA Hockey jersey. Skates, helmets and gloves are required. Skates can be rented at the rink and a limited number of helmets and gloves will be available to use as well.
