Police Blotter: 3 DUI Charges in Darien

Darien police reports, Oct. 28 to Nov. 4.

 

SUNDAY, NOV. 4

DUI, Speeding

Bob Z. Dzimira, 40, of Lemont, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and failure to signal. Police said he drove into the intersection of a red light in the 8400 block of Cass Avenue and was going 58 mph in a 40-mph zone. He refused a Breathalyzer test and was given a Dec. 4 court date.

Underage DUI

Amber S. Gilgenbach, 18, of Glenview, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal consumption by a minor and improper lane use. Police stopped her car near Lemont Road and I-55 at 3:04 a.m. and said they could smell a strong odor of alcohol. She refused a Breathalyzer test and was given a Dec. 11 court date. 

SUNDAY, OCT. 28

DUI Charge

Samuel Kissi-Baah, 45, of the 8000 block of Willow Wood Way in Woodridge, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and improper lane usage. Police said he was driving erratically and going 55 mph in a 40-mph zone along Lemont Road at 3 a.m. After stopping him, police said Kissi-Baah smelled of alcohol and had red, glassy eyes. He refused a Breathalyzer and was given a Dec. 4 court date.
