Police Blotter: $5,700 in Jewelry Stolen From Home

Darien police reports, Nov. 9-12.

 


MONDAY, NOV. 12

Jewelry Stolen

About $5,700 in jewelry was stolen from a home in the 500 block of 73rd Street. The burglary occurred sometime between 9 p.m. Nov. 12 and 4 p.m. Nov. 17. It's currently unknown how entry was made into the home. 

SATURDAY, NOV. 10

Fence Damaged

A resident in the 8200 block of Sawyer Road told police that someone broke the top of a fence. The estimated loss was $20.

FRIDAY, NOV. 9

Home Vandalized

A home in the 7000 block of Beechnut was covered in toilet paper sometime between 11 p.m. Nov. 9 and 8 a.m. Nov. 10.
