Police Blotter: Front End Loader Burglarized in Darien

TUESDAY, JAN. 8
Loader Batteries Stolen
Batteries were stolen from a front end loader in Chestnut Court sometime between 10:30 p.m. Jan. 5 and 10:30 a.m. Jan. 8, police said. The estimated loss was $125.
SUNDAY, JAN. 6
Christmas Decorations Damaged
Someone damaged various Christmas decorations in a resident's yard in the 1900 block of 71st Street. Police said the property damage occurred between 5 p.m. Jan. 5 and 7:30 a.m. Jan. 6. The estimated loss was $250.
SATURDAY, JAN. 5
A resident in 8200 block of Ripple Ridge found their car damaged. The front windshield was broken and there was also damage done to the body of the car. The estimated loss was not known.
