Police Blotter: Tire Slashed, Handicap Permit Stolen

Darien police incident reports, Nov. 7-9.

 

FRIDAY, NOV. 9

Phone Stolen

Someone stole a cell phone from the counter at Darien Collision Center, 8125 Lemont Rd., at about 4 p.m. The loss was estimated at $400. 

Handicap Permit Taken

A handicap parking permit was stolen from a car in the parking lot of Jewel, 7335 Cass Ave. at about 11 a.m. Police said they were unsure how entry was gained into the car. 

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 7

Slashed Tire

The front tire of a car parked in the 1200 block of Ashbrook Court was slashed sometime between 8:30 p.m. Nov. 7 and 7:30 a.m. The total loss was $100.
