Readers' Choice: Which Darien Preschool is Tops?
Darien Patch asks readers to recommend their preschool pick.
Any decision about your children ranks among the most important choices you make. It never hurts to have the wisdom of parents who have “been there, done that” when you send your kids off to the first years of school.
In this week’s Readers’ Choice, we’re asking you to share your thoughts on Darien’s preschools. Write a review by clicking on the preschool’s name, vote in the poll below or do both! Voting closes at noon Friday.

We have our third child going through the Darien Park District and I couldn't be happier with the program and teachers. I did a lot of research before selecting that pre-school and have been so happy that the Park Distict lives up to the accolades I heard about it.

My son is going to First Step Preschool at the Park District. He not only loves going to school, but is learning things for kindergarten too. The teachers and staff are awesome with the kids.

First Step Preschool is wonderful! I have one child that went through their 2's Day at School and 3 yr old programs and I couldn't be happier. Will definitely be enrolling my other child there when the time comes.

Our Lady of Peace has a wonderful pre-school! It's a newer program with so much to offer. Mrs. McFadyen is highly qualified, and the children are so ready for kindergarten after two years in this program!! Mrs. Kulik is a wonderful assistant in the pre-school, too. The whole child is considered in this program: social skills, academics and spiritual growth are all emphasized.

Our family loves Darien Park District's First Step Preschool. The teachers do a fantastic job getting the kids to focus, while still making class fun for them. My son is so excited to go to school everyday, and I think that has a lot to do with the staff and overall friendly environment. He is more than ready to start kindergarten. They also offer many enrichment programs for the kids before and after school for working parents, a big plus! I'm so excited for my baby to start in the fall. It's a great program.
