Snow Expected to Hamper Friday Commute
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory through 6 p.m. Friday.
After another dry spell, wintry weather is back in Darien.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for DuPage County until 6 p.m. Friday, the National Weather Service said.
Expect flurries to turn into heavier snow this afternoon, with accumulations of 1-3 inches possible by early evening.
Take it easy on your afternoon commute as the timing of the storm could make driving hazardous. Wind gusts of up to 30 mph combined with the snow could further decrease visibility.
