The Darien Lions Club will host its annual Halloween Party for area children on Wednesday- October 31st at the Sportsplex, 451 Plainfield Road, from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. This event features many fun games and prizes for all children attending along with a haunted-house themed contest, magic shows and other attractions. A Sportsplex ice rink also is available for use by older children. As always- admission is free courtesy of the Darien Lions Club.

More About Darien Sportsplex
Since the late 1990s the Darien Sportsplex has hosted ice hockey, skating and soccer events. Three NHL sized ice rinks are home to the trophy winning Chicago Hawks Hockey Club and adult and youth hockey leagues. Public skate for all ages and levels is open to the general public. Check the website for the current monthly calendar and for information about camps, clinics and room rentals. A pro shop and concessions stand are also on the premises.
