Do you have a question for State Senator Christine Radogno’s (R-Lemont) district office staff, but can’t make it to the office in Lemont? Senator Radogno is reminding residents that she offers traveling office hours in Darien the second Thursday of every month.

An office representative will be in Darien on Thursday, June 14 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Indian Prairie Public Library, 401 Plainfield Road, Darien, IL 60561.

Frequently, Sen. Radogno and her staff have been able to provide constituents with information on legislative issues, provide help with respect to voter registration, offer insights on handling health care and medical insurance questions, direct residents to assistance with their tax concerns, and field driver’s license and registration inquiries, just to name a few.

Constituents should also feel free to visit Sen. Radogno’s full time “Constituent Service Office” at 1011 State Street, Ste. 210, Lemont, IL 60439. The office is open Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 4:30 pm.  The office can also be contacted via phone at 630-243-0800, or through email at cradogno@sbcglobal.net.

The Indian Prairie Public Library, founded in 1988, has a fresh look thanks to a renovation completed in November 2010. The highly trafficked library -- hosting more than 6.5 million visitors since it opened in 1996 -- responded to its patrons' requests by adding more seating, new light fixtures and creating wide-open spaces on the first floor. Also, patrons who place materials on hold can now pick them up from a self-service area.

The library offers an array of services, including book discussions, a genealogy group, study rooms and a family room with interactive books for preschoolers.
