Today in Darien: Brush Pickup Continues, Millenium Park Lecture

Here’s some of what’s going on in and around Darien for Wednesday, Aug. 28:

Millenium Park Lecture: Jeff Mishur will show images and discuss the history of this Chicago landmark at 1 p.m. Aug. 28 at the Indian Prairie Public Library. 

Brush pickup began Monday, and will run through the end of this week. If you didn't get any brush picked up, you can take it to the Municipal Services Facility, located at 1041 S. Frontage Road, and place at the designated location, labeled as "Brush." 

Candy Day is coming: The Darien Lions Club posted an announcement that its annual candy days will be this Oct. 11-12. The money helps children with disabilities go to camp.
