Goers Dental Care gives back to the community

Goers Dental Care donated 100 percent of the money it raised at Darien Park District's indoor flea market back to the park district.

For more than a month, the dentists and staff members at Goers Dental Care in Darien collected clothing and household items to sell at the Darien Park District’s indoor flea market held Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Community Center, 7301 Fairview Ave.

After the event and as a surprise, Goers Dental donated 100 percent of the money it raised back to the park district.

Dawn Dvorak and Susi Lisowski from Goers Dental Care spearheaded the collection, sale and donation.

“We had a blast at the event,” Dvorak said, “and donating our proceeds to the Darien Park District is just one way we can give back to our community.”
