OK, so this is not exactly about entertainment, but it is about bringing beauty into your life. My wife and I recently ventured out to Bed, Bath & Beyond in Willowbrook—yes guys, it is OK to go there. On the way to the store we noticed that a new business had opened up a few doors down from BB&B called, J & H Decor: Flowers & More. Since my wife was a floral designer for many years, we decided to check it out. And we are very glad we did.
Owners Julia King and Halina Sulik, the J & H in the name, were former co-workers of my wife's. After the usual pleasantries of recognizing each other and talking about the old days, we took a look around and discovered some amazing displays of fresh and silk floral arrangements and fresh English gardens, along with a cornucopia of products, from unique scarves to handmade African beaded necklaces to home decor accessories and much, much more.
Julia and Halina had worked together for more than 10 years in Hinsdale, and their experience in creating beautiful floral pieces and their eye for finding unique and interesting merchandise is evident throughout the store.
