Enrollment for the 2014-2015 academic year at St. John Lutheran Church Early Learning Center located at 7214 South Cass Avenue in Darien, IL begins on Monday, January 6.

The school will provide community members the opportunity to see the school’s facility, meet the staff, and learn about its high-quality program at an Open House scheduled on Saturday, February 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

To assist parents in comparing its school to others, St. John Lutheran Early Learning Center is providing visitors a free Parent Guide to Selecting a Preschool which features a checklist based on recommendations by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

Since 1969, the church has been providing state-licensed Christ-centered early childhood education focused on the academic, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical development of children.

The Early Learning Center offers a wide range of half-day and full-day programs to meet the preschool and kindergarten needs of children who are not-quite-three through age five.  A Parent & Tot class is available for youngsters who are two.

To assist parents employed outside the home, the center also offers before and after school extended care. Optional on-site enrichment classes such as Little Amigo Spanish, Young Rembrandts Drawing, Tumble Bear Gymnastics, Soccer Shots, Lego Engineering, and STEM Education are provided so families can conveniently eliminate having to transport their child to another location.
