Bargain hunters mark your calendar! You won't want to miss the annual Our Lady of Peace garage sale to be held at 709 Plainfield Rd. in Darien on Saturday, June 25th from 9am to 2pm with a half price sale on June 26th from 1pm-4pm. These deals work well with anyone's budget. The classrooms will be transformed into well organized shops of toys, books, sporting goods, housewares, clothes, furniture, bikes, etc.
If you have just completed your spring cleaning, please consider donating your gently used items to the sale. Your tax deductible donations will be accepted June 16th and 17th from 3-7pm, Sat. June 18th from 9am-1pm, and June 20th from 3-7pm. Junior high and high school students have volunteered to help empty cars of donations and set up for the sale. The proceeds of the sale benefit the school.
