Meet Sylvester

Like the cartoon cat from which he gets his name, 11-week-old Sylvester is one very playful, high-energy kitten. He and his three sisters just arrived at the Hinsdale Humane Society after their mom, a stray, gave birth while in a foster home.

Because the kittens were born into a family with kids, they’re already well socialized and ready for placement in a family with dogs, cats or children of any age. Each of the kittens is between two and three pounds.

Sylvester, however, is the only one lucky enough to have a name yet. He’s young enough that the Humane Society staff said his new owner could change his name without confusing him.
