NAPERVILLE—4 Charged in Connection with Naperville Vehicle Burglaries—Police have charged four in connection with burglaries to motor vehicles this weekend.

WESTERN SPRINGS—Chicago Tribune's John Kass Excited About LT's Silver Brick Match—The Chicago Tribune columnist posted on Facebook about the Lyons Township vs. Hinsdale Central boys soccer rivalry game that took place Saturday in Western Springs.

DOWNERS GROVE—Downers Grove Police Detail Burglaries at Home of Deceased Neighbors—Two of the burglaries took place in September, according to police reports. Kenneth Harry, a 43-year-old neighbor, was charged in connection to the incidents.

LEMONT—Old Quarry Placed on Soft Lockdown after Alleged Bomb Threat—The Lemont Police Department found "nothing out of the ordinary" after a student reported seeing the words "school bomb" written in a middle school bathroom.

ELMHURST—Heroin Addicts Dying Every Week in DuPage—A panel attempts to break down this complex epidemic at Elmhurst College forum. Parents of addicts who died from heroin share their grief.
