Darien Collage Artist's Work To Be Exhibited

Artist and resident Laura Lein-Svencner will be exhibiting her collage artwork from October 1 through October 27 at the La Grange Art League. An opening reception will be held on October 5 between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the league at 121 Calendar Avenue in La Grange.

Lein-Svencner has been exploring her creative energies in the fine art of collage for the past 18 years. The works that will be on display are part of a year-long commitment of weekly studies.

Lein-Svencner said the process of understanding the connection of color was examined in each of the compositions.
