Country-pop musician performed to a packed audience Thursday at Ballydolye's in Downers Grove.
Mixing original songs among covers of hits by the likes of Travis Tritt, Jason Mraz and Ke$ha, Salgado had the energized crowd singing along and, at one point, even jumping onstage.
Salgado, of Darien, has a busy fall ahead of him. Next month, he's shooting his first video in Michigan and by late autumn he expects to release his first album, It's Love, It's Fun, It's True.

His next performance is 5 p.m. Friday at Ballydoyle's in Bloomingdale, 152 Stratford Square Drive.
