Concord Elementary Students Raise Nearly $26,000 in Four Years for the American Heart Association

Concord Students Jump Rope for Heart

Concord Elementary School students recently jumped for a cause as they participated in the American Heart Association’s Jump Rope for Heart event. Through various activities such as jumping rope, hula hoops, the limbo and other events, the students raised over $6,400.00 in an effort to help fight heart disease and stroke.  Although the activity was a healthy and enjoyable event for all students, it also brought the American Heart Association’s message of research and funding to the forefront. The extremely generous Concord School community of students, parents, and teachers has raised a grand total of $25,946.03 for the American Heart Association in the last four years of participating in Jump Rope for Heart!  The Concord physical education teachers, Craig Damrow and Greg Kirchen, are grateful for the support to this very worthy cause.
