Gun Stylus for Tablet

Sure, planning your schedule, sending e-mails, watching video, playing games and everything else one might do on a tablet or smart-phone is just fine, but can it compare to doing all those same things... but with a miniature plastic assault rifle? Let’s face it, if you don’t look like you’re trying to mow down your screen, you’re not really having the full experience. A Naperville seller can fix that with this gun-shaped stylus for $15.

Pull-Tab Purse

Despite whatever rumors you’ve heard, those pull-tabs from the top of aluminum cans don’t have any particular redemption value—sorry.  But they can apparently still make a sweet and fashionable shiny-metallic purse! Set a fashion trend with this nifty handbag, going for $40 out of Clarendon Hills. Or confuse people (and purse-snatchers) by using it to store even more pull tabs. Tab-ception!

Scary Traps as Décor

These 18 rusty, terrifying-looking foothold traps are probably made for catching foxes or raccoons or beavers or something, though a Woodridge seller thinks they’d be “nice to hang in the cabin.” They also look nice for reenacting scenes from “Saw” (please don’t use these to reenact scenes from “Saw.”) Give your cabin walls a little serial-killer makeover for $150.

Old Chicago Stadium Chandeliers

The first remarkable thing about these chandeliers is that they’re so antique they use actual candles (whoa.) The far more remarkable thing is that they used to adorn the old Chicago Stadium’s William Wertz's Governors Lounge, and then later the home of ‘90s Blackhawks defenseman Steve Smith. That’s enough sports history for them to be worth $1,000 each from a Hinsdale seller.

Grinch Glitter Lamp

What do you mean, July is a weird time to be buying Christmas stuff? Sounds like something a Grinch would say. Grow your heart three sizes with this Dr. Seuss collectible “glitter lamp,” featuring the green fellow, his dog Max and that famous Christmas tree. A Naperville seller is offering it for $100.

Baby Monkey Costume

Extremely curious, super cute, prone to shoving things in their mouths, questionably hygienic… sound like a baby, or a monkey? Maybe it’s both—maybe it’s a baby wearing this adorable monkey costume that someone in Wheaton is selling for just $5. Video camera highly recommended for maximum viral-video potential.
