Crain's: Fastest Supercomputer Ever Coming to Argonne

The supercomputer, 20 times faster than any others at Argonne, will arrive in 2012.

Darien-based Argonne National Laboratory will soon house the fastest supercomputer ever, Crain’s Chicago Business reported Monday.

The IBM machine, which is still in development, is slated to arrive at Argonne in 2012, the report said. 

The ultra-speedy computer will be 20 times faster than any of the other computers at Argonne, Crain's said.
