Parkinson said Downers Grove was the ideal location for adding a pick-up location.

"Our customers can pull in to our new location on 63rd Street where our friendly staff will greet them, take their coupons, and load their groceries within five minutes—you don’t even have to get out of your car," he said. "It’s a convenient, stress-free option.”

Peapod’s virtual shelves have more than 11,000 popular- and house-brand products, from grocery basics to farm-fresh produce; restaurant-quality meats and seafood; prepared foods and party trays; deli meats and cheeses, sliced to order; Kosher, organic and specialty foods; office, school and pet supplies; and a variety of beer, wine and beverages (available in select markets).

For an efficient, interactive shopping experience, Peapod intuitively organizes products and tracks guests’ purchase history.  Peapod shoppers can create personal lists, review nutrition facts, sort products by price or by nutritional content, and take advantage of thousands of weekly specials.
