Money Smart Week at the Indian Prairie Public Library

The Indian Prairie Public Library will host two Money Smart Week presentations April 5-12.

Paying for College and Cars will take place Tuesday, April 8, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The presentation will cover everything high school students and their parents need to know about installment loans, including car loans and student loans.

Inventing 101 will take place Thursday, April 10, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Local inventor and entrepreneur Keith E. Weber will show teens and adults how to transform an idea through making it themselves to a finished product.

Both programs are free and will take place in the Meeting Room on the second floor of the library, 401 Plainfield Rd. in Darien. Participants can register online at www.calendar.ippl.info, by phone at (630) 877-8760 x264, or in-person at the library’s Kids and Teens Ask Us Desk.
