P.F. Chang’s China Bistro has two locations situated to the north and south of the Darien-Woodridge-Lemont vicinity—one at Orland Park Crossing at 14135 La Grange Rd. and the other at 2361 Fountain Square Dr. in Lombard.
According to online maps, it appears that no more than a 23 minute commute is required to connect patrons from this region with really good lettuce wraps.
P.F. Chang's signature wrap contains chicken, mushrooms, green onion and water chestnuts, along with rice crisps and fresh lettuce. A tofu vegetarian wrap is also available.
Diners can also opt for eggrolls, dumplings, shrimp or wontons as an appetizer too. The various sauces that accompany menu items are unique, light and flavorful.
Entrees are priced from $7.95 - $24.95 and include vegetarian, gluten-free, duck, chicken, lamb, pork, beef and seafood selections.
A four-course meal for two (an ongoing P.F. Chang’s special) costs $39.95 and begins with a choice of hot and sour or egg drop soup, an appetizer (yes, that includes the lettuce wraps), two chicken, beef, pork or seafood entrees, and a dessert.
Lunch specials are available until 4 p.m. and are a satisfying portion for a reasonable cost of $7.95 - $10.45. Included are choice of soup, steamed brown or white rice and a smaller share of a select group of entrees.
Happy hour runs everyday from 3 - 6 p.m. and features specially priced dim sum—petite portions of steamed dumplings, wontons, Asian tacos, lettuce wraps, shrimp and more.
The contemporary Chinese restaurant chain has enjoyed good reviews in most of its 200 U.S. and international locations, and runs promotions on its Facebook page.
To celebrate its 18-year anniversary, P.F. Chang’s is giving away FREE Lettuce Wraps. But hurry: The offer expires this Sunday.
And, YES, there is a catch. You must “Like” them on Facebook and allow P.F. Chang’s access to your basic info (name, profile picture, groups, friend list, networks, user ID) before you get your certificate.
Although many have posted on P.F. Chang’s Facebook page that they’ve successfully used the coupon, $7.75 doesn’t seem like such a high price to pay for enjoying lettuce wraps and the retention of personal information.
