This Week: Circus in Town; Goers Ribbon Cutting; Fire Open House

Five things everyone in Darien should know this week.

1. : The Kelly Miller Circus comes to town Tuesday as the Cass 63 Foundation fall fundraiser. The circus will perform shows at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in a tent at .

2. : If you feel like doing a good deed before hitting the circus, stop by the Darien Woman’s Club LifeSource Blood Drive at . The drive will run from 4:30-8 p.m. Tuesday in the school’s gym.

3. : Though has been open in Darien for a little while, it will officially celebrate its new location with a ribbon cutting and open house from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday.

4. : Eat up at the Hinsdale High School Teachers Association Spaghetti Dinner from 4-7 p.m. Friday in the cafeteria. Five bucks (four if you’re a student) gets you all you can eat pasta, salad, garlic bread and a dessert.

5. : The is scheduled to hold its annual open house from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at its headquarters. Learn how to use a fire extinguisher, watch a mock auto extrication and see a demonstration fire in two rooms.
