The Fox Valley Academy of Music Performance will hold auditions on Sunday, December 16th for its Winter-Spring session beginning in January 2013. The Academy’s ensembles include the Fox Valley Youth Strings and the Fox Valley Academy Orchestra. These orchestras are comprised of area student musicians, ages 8 to 18. Academy ensembles rehearse late in the afternoon on Sundays in North Aurora and perform at various locations in the Fox Valley area each season.Positions are available in all sections. Very advanced high school and college-aged musicians may also be accepted to play with the adult affiliated Philharmonic Orchestra.
