"Glimmer of Hope" 2014 - Wounded Warrior Project

Woodridge, IL (January 8, 2014) - Glimmer
Salon in Woodridge presents: Glimmer of Hope 2014, the third annual
event hosted by Glimmer Salon to raise awareness and funds for local causes.  This year, at the request of their customers,
they will be supporting the Wounded Warrior Project (www.wwphighcap.org).

The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project
(WWP) is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors.
The WWP’s vision is to foster the most successful, well-adjusted
generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history. The WWP
organization is the hand that extends to encourage warriors as they adjust to
their new normal and achieve new triumphs. Offering a variety of programs and
services, WWP is equipped to serve warriors with every type of injury - from
the physical to the invisible wounds of war.

This year’s Glimmer
of Hope
event has been moved to a larger venue to accommodate the
growing success of the past two years. The date is this Friday, January 10,
2014 from 6-10pm at the Darien Swim and Recreation Club located at 1001
