Caring and Sharing in the True Spirit of the Holidays

Surprise the children in your life with a creative and fun gingerbread

decorating event, while helping mothers and children this holiday season seeking
safer futures free from domestic violence. Sponsored by Family Shelter Service
and the Southeast Community Resource Council, this fundraising event will take
place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Abbington Distinctive Banquets in Glen
Ellyn, on Saturday, December 7. Enjoy

a breakfast buffet (served 9:30 - 11 a.m. -- come when you like, stay as long
as you want),  visits with Santa and Mrs.
Claus, musical entertainment, caroling, storytelling, balloon artist, costumed
characters, face painting and each guest can decorate a pre-assembled
gingerbread house to take home.

All proceeds benefit Family
Shelter Service, offering help and hope to individuals affected by domestic
violence. Online registration begins October 21st , please visit
www.familyshelterservice.org or call 630-221-8290. Your support will assist those in
