National REST Training Program

The National REST Training Program is nationally

recognized as an original interactive train-the-trainer program that is

committed to providing participants the knowledge to become volunteer respite

care workers and support caregivers within their communities. The Respite

Education and Support Tools (REST) is a nonprofit organization based in

Bloomingdale, IL that is dedicated to creating an international network of

organizations that prepare individuals to support caregivers through respite.

This year, they will be hosting the event on October

24th and 25th at the Chicago-Hilton Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale. It

will start on Thursday from 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-3pm.  A fee of $500 will be required and

scholarship opportunities are available for those who qualify.
