The Members of the Darien Police Department are hosting a fundraiser this year to benefit the Children of Sergeant James Borsilli who has recently lost his battle with cancer. Sergeant Borsilli was 48 years old and had been battling cancer for approximately 1 year before succumbing to complications. He actively served the community of Darien for 24 years as a Patrol Officer, Evidence Technician, Detective and Sergeant. Jim was a loving and dedicated father, co-worker, and friend. He is survived by his two young children who are 14 and 15 years of age.
