The Hornets football team took advantaged of another weak opponent Friday night, winning 26-3 at Leyden.
It's the third straight win for Hinsdale South, which is now 3-3 overall and 3-1 in the West Suburban Gold Conference.
After giving up an average of nearly 32ppg in its first three games, all losses, the Hornets have since allowed just 30 points total in its last three wins.
It has been against weaker competition, though, as those three wins come against teams were a combined 1-14 going into Friday night.
Next week, the Hornets have a non-conference test against rival Hinsdale Central. The game is at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at Hinsdale South.
