Darien Grocery Stores Open on Thanksgiving Day

Pass the cranberry sauce … oops! Even if you plan ahead for Thanksgiving, there always seems to be something you forgot.

So, just in case … here's a list of Thanksgiving Day hours for grocery and convenience stores in and around Darien.

OPEN 24 HOURS

• Shell Food Mart
  

• Both 7-Elevens in Willowbrook, at 535 Joliet Road in Willowbrook and 10S410 Kingery Highway

OPEN PART OF DAY

• Brookhaven Marketplace will be open from 7 a.m.-3 p.m.

• Jewel-Osco is open 24 hours up until Thanksgiving day, when the store  closes at 4 p.m.

• Whole Foods Market Willowbrook will be open from 7 a.m.-3 p.m.

• Walgreens- 7516 Cass Avenue and 8300 Lemont Road will be open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.; pharmacies at both stores will be closed.

• CVS Pharmacy will be open regular hours, 8 a.m.-10 p.m.

• Walmart opens Thanksgiving Day at 6 a.m. until Friday at midnight. (Store is not a Super Walmart, but carries some food essentials.)
