Jewel-Osco Pharmacy welcomes new pharmacist!

Hi Darien Patch Readers!

  My journey in retail pharmacy began 10 years ago. After falling in love with the profession during an internship in undergrad, I decided to pursue my doctor of pharmacy. I received my Biology degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2002 then my doctorate from Midwestern University in 2008. I'm a member of the American Pharmacists Association and a professional fraternity, Phi Delta Chi. I joined Osco in 2008 after learning that the company's ultimate goal was not about the quantity of prescriptions being dispensed, but about the entire well being of their patients. I quickly got involved in clinical programs and now specialize in immunizations and health screenings. In the future, I would like to become a diabetes educator. I'm excited to work with the team at Osco and community in Darien.

  These days, my time outside of work is spent chasing after my 18 month old boy! We like the outdoors and visit many parks and pools. I enjoy running, traveling, and discovering new restaurants. Please come in and say hi. I would love to meet you!
