Don't Miss the Hottest Band at DarienFest: Below Zero

Below Zero, the hottest band in Darien, will perform on the main stage at DarienFest this Sunday, September 9, at 1:30 pm.  A Battle of the Bands winner, Below Zero is a cutting edge teen rock band making a name for themselves in the Western Suburbs. Vocalist Lizzie O’Neill, drummer Peter Hamot, guitarist Jimmy McIlvain and bassist Grayson Becker, all high school sophomores, deliver a stellar performance like seasoned musicians, confidently covering songs by groups such as All American Rejects, Jimmy Eats World and Pink. Graduates of Our Lady of Peace School, the band formed in seventh grade and in recent years has been sought after by local venues and for private performances.     

A star in the making, vocalist Lizzie O’Neill also performs on the main stage as a Darien Idol finalist at 2 pm on Saturday, September 8.
