"My job specifications [at Hephzibah] vastly ranged from being an advocate for the student and foster families, to running workshops for schools districts in and around the Chicagoland area on helping teachers and parents use strategies and interventions to help create positive experiences in and outside the educational environment," said Mr. Smith. "Topics such as bullying, preventive interventions, positive-discipline and communication were just several of the workshop experiences that I had the opportunity to instruct."

Mr. Smith has his Masters of Education degree from DePaul University, along with his degree in guidance counseling and a type 73 certification.
