Our Lady of Peace Students Observe Patriot Day

OLP School Community marks the 11th anniversary of 9/11

Our Lady of Peace Catholic School students, faculty and staff gathered outside this morning during a solemn Patriot Day prayer service to mark the 11th anniversary of 9/11.

The students started the service with the Pledge of Allegiance and observed a moment of silence to remember those who lost their lives on 9/11.

Led by Father Walter Dziordz, Our Lady of Peace's pastor, and Mrs. Mickey Tovey, school principal, prayers were offered for those who died on 9/11, the first responders on that day, families who lost their loved ones and soldiers who protect our freedom.
