Our Lady of Peace Catholic School students made valentines to show their love and support for students at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.
Children in kindergarten and grades one, two and three participated in the project. The valentines were mailed at the beginning of February.
Our Lady of Peace Catholic School is an elementary school offering faith-based education for children in preschool through eighth grade. It educates more than 365 students from Darien and 11 surrounding suburbs.
