Kingswood Academy's 2013 Posada

     Last weekend, the Kingswood Academy community celebrated Las Posadas which has been one of the many Christmas traditions in Mexico for a long time.

     Las Posadas means "The Inns" or "The Shelters" in Spanish. Las Posadas is a tradition based on preparing for Christ's birth  that involves the re-enactment of Mary and Joseph searching for lodgings in Bethlehem.

     The Kingswood community gathered together, sang Advent hymns, and prayed the Rosary. It was a great event and has been a tradition at Kingswood Academy for the past several years.
