Local Girl Scout Troops Hold Cupcake Wars

It was a battle of the Do Si Does and Samoas—cupcake style.

In honor of the Girl Scouts 100 Year Anniversary and Teacher Appreciation Week, the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th grade girls from and Prairieview's Girl Scout troops had a cupcake war Girl Scout Cookie style. This follows the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars Show that just aired a special on the Girl Scout's 100 Year Anniversary focusing on Girl Scout-themed cupcakes. We had eight troops competing and each team took one cookie flavor to turn into a cupcake.

This was a fun way to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts, and to raise awareness of girl scouting in the district.
