Nancy's Shameless Plug for her Musical Theater and Glee Performance!!!!

Hi, everyone!!!

It's me again!!!! Just wanted to let you know that I have some extremely talented and hardworking kids in my Musical Theater Workshop and Glee Club at the .

In the Musical Theater Workshop, these kids (Olivia, Mattie, Madison, Elizabeth, Isa, Grace, Emma, Jenny and Lily) work VERY hard!!!! They learn nine musical numbers — singing AND dancing. They learn dialogue and set changes. They have designed the posters for the set pieces. They have designed the program cover (after they determined the name of the show!). They also have designed their own costumes!! They will put it all together and perform it Monday evening (Dec. 12) at 6 p.m. at the Darien Park District. To think...they did ALL this and their homework, chores etc... I'm thinking it's pretty impressive!!

In Glee, the girls (Abby, Catie, Samantha and Lainie) have learned two songs and choreography with one of them! They also designed their costumes. All of these girls are energetic and fantastic kids!!!!! They will also be performing Monday evening!!!

What makes these kids special is their willingness to work to help each other. The Glee performers will be holding the "cue cards" for the Musical Theater performance and the Musical Theater performers will be helping sing the Glee numbers!!!

I highly recommend anyone who has an hour to come check these performances out on Monday evening. We will have snacks too!!!!!!!!!!!
