Two other passengers, as well as the driver of the other car, were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with critical injuries.
Police charged the driver of the car in which Osowski was riding, Sam Cafi, with eight counts of felony driving under the influence. Cafi, 28, of the 8300 block of South 79th Street in Justice, is scheduled to appear in court April 2.
