14-Year-Old Student Charged for Texting Nude Photo

Hinsdale Central student acquired photo from another student.


A student at Hinsdale Central High School has been charged with texting an image of a nude female to acquaintances.

Hinsdale Deputy Police Chief Kevin Simpson said that the teen, a 14-year-old boy, acquired the image from another student and sent it two other students last month.

Both students deleted the picture and did not forward or post it on social media, Simpson said.

A student tipped off a guidance counselor who informed the school resources officer. The teen was arrested on May 24 and charged with disorderly conduct.

The 14-year-old knew the female in the nude photo but did not have a romantic relationship with her, Simpson told Trib Local.

The teen was referred to a peer jury program.
