Autopsies Being Conducted on Darien Bodies; More Info Confirmed

The DuPage County Coroner is conducting autopsies today on the four bodies discovered in an unincorporated Darien/Downers Grove home near the Darien border on Tuesday afternoon, and has confirmed the ages and genders of the deceased.

"The deceased's identities are being withheld pending positive identification, but consist of a middle aged male, middle aged female, early 20's female, and a upper teen's female," a release on the official DuPage County Coroner's Office website reads.

Sources have reported that the deaths are being investigated as a man shooting three family members to death before committing suicide.

"It appears the bodies received gunshot wounds, however our investigation is ongoing and autopsies are to be performed at our office today," the release said.

According to the coroner's office and to real estate listings, the home, 555 Oldfield Road, is occupied by a family with the last name Andrus.
