Car Stolen From Darien, Found in Joliet

Police recovered a car in Joliet after it was stolen from a Darien home last month.

A car stolen from a Darien home last month wasn't missing for long, Darien police reported in their most recent incident report. 

According to police, someone entered an unlocked car in the 8200 block of Sawyer sometime between midnight and 7:15 a.m. Dec. 16. 

The offender used a garage door opener in the unlocked car the get inside the attached garage, and stole a silver 2004 Lexus from the home.
