He called her and demanded to know where she was. Was she home? No? Then stay away, he said.
Marquez's son and his cousin had just come back to the Tara Hill subdivision in Darien at about 3:30 p.m. June 11 when they saw several men in SWAT gear and with rifles drawn.
The Marquez family would later find out that the authorities were there to investigate an incident at a home located to the north behind their backyard.
The DuPage County Sheriff's Office found four people dead, according to media reports, but further details were not immediately released.
