Report of Masturbating Man on Beechnut Lane Being Investigated

Darien Police are investigating an incident of indecent exposure that was reported to the department Friday. According to the report, a man in the area of 71st Street and Beechnut was seen in a Honda watching a girl under the age of 18 walking down the street.

"The male had his pants unzipped and was masturbating while in the vehicle," said Darien Police in a media announcement about the incident.

Police say the man was not in the area when officers arrived. The man was described as a white male, wearing a hat, sitting in a gold, four-door sedan, which may have been a Honda.
