Darien Police Seeking Witnesses to Sunday Crash Involving Squad Car

Though they arrested a suspect, the police are asking anyone with more information to call Sgt. Jim Borsilli at 630-971-3999.

A squad car was struck in the side by another car Sunday on the 1900 block of Manning Road while officers were responding to a call, police said.

The incident happened around 5:30 p.m., according to the report.

Details are being kept under wraps pending the investigation, but Sgt. Jim Borsilli said they did arrest a suspect.

Anyone who witnessed the accident should call Borsilli at 630-971-3999.
