Egging Reportedly Does $1,000 Damage to Car

Two other egging incidents reported last week.

A mini-rash of eggings last week caused costly damage to one car, police said.

Two cars parked in a driveway on the 8400 block of Beller were egged sometime between 10 p.m. July 18 and 8 a.m. July 19, police said.

About $1,000 in damage was done to the paint on one of the cars, according to the report.

A third car was egged overnight July 21, but police said the incident didn’t cause any damage.

Vandals also egged a house on the 8100 block of Sawyer sometime between 7 p.m. Thursday and 5 p.m. Sunday, police said. No damage was reported.
